MY SURVEY

This is the survey that I designed to test people's knowledge about glow-worms.  I soon found out that the average person had no knowledge of them at all, and could only hazard a wild guess!  I quickly discovered that, the older the person, the more likely they were to get the answers correct, and also to have seen glow-worms.  Most children, and their parents, knew ZILCH!  This means that knowledge and understanding of them will disappear with the older generation.   Out of one hundred people surveyed, only three knew that glow-worms were beetles, or that they eat snails.  So, if glow-worms are to survive for MY generation's children to see, then the rest of us need to learn to appreciate and look after them.   FAST
